Sylvia Pippen 2-day Workshop!

We are SO excited to be welcoming Sylvia Pippen to our store for an incredible 2-day workshop next month.  She will be coming over from Hawaii and will be leading us in an adventure learning her beautiful applique and hand sashiko techniques.  Please take a look at her website and see just why we're so jazzed about this event. http://www.sylviapippendesigns.com

The class is limited to 20 and we're more than half full, so if  you're the least bit interested, please call us right away and at least get your name on the list.  Cost is $100 and includes the 2-day workshop, breakfast goodies, lunch, and snacks both days.

SHASTA DAISY QUILTERS

(Relatively) new Quilt Guild in Redding

A couple of years ago several of us started a new quilt guild in Redding.  We meet once a month, on the 4th Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and are strictly a fun-loving group of quilt enthusiasts.  Some of us take our sewing machines (there's plenty of electrical outlets) and others simply bring hand work.  We have Show and Tell and share info on how to do things and sometimes have mini demos to show a technique or hint.  NO POLITICS - Just fun!  You can bring your lunch or purchase it there, since we meet at the Shasta Senior Nutrition Center out on College View (next to Simpson University).  Dues are $24/year for January - December.  But you can just stop by and visit us a time or two for $2/visit and decide if you'd actually like to join our membership.
